it worked great for me! it didnt do so well the next time… ill try and write a little tut.

First DL the crack from the link at the top of the page

Go to your desktop and create a new file labeled “ Ai Backup”

Then go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS3\Support Files\Contents\Windows

After you get there scroll down until you see an file that just says “ illustrator” it will have the same picture above it as the crack.

Now rightclick-drag it on top of the backup folder you made and you will see the option to “ move” it, do so.

Now find the cracked “ illustrator.exe” file that you just DLed and rightclick drag it into the place were the old one used to be.

Stay in that file and just click the crack. It should open up no problem.

When it opens up, go to the “ help” button and check to see if “ Registration” is grayed out. If it is well done, you’ve just cracked Ai.

Now, back in that file, leftclick the cracked illustrator.exe and drag it onto your desktop.

This will make a shortcut to the file itself not just a copy.

You will see that its named illustrator shortcut. you can rename it however you want.

Now, its important to keep that backup folder somewere (not nessesarily on your desktop, but somewere) just incase anything goes wrong.

You can just switch the orriginal illustrator.exe with the crack and you’ll have the orriginal version again.

I’m using Avast and it has nothing to say about my keygen.
The problem is that most keygens are falsly reported as a virus/trojan because they are packed with a certian kind of packer.
That and I think some softwaremakers probably report keygens for their software as trojans/viruses just to mess with people

I used Wannabe’s crack and it worked great! no viruses detected (I’m using updated NOD32 build 3.0.6), just follow the instructions on the text file.

Hey there. Thank you soooooo much for providing the crack! I guess for most people it didn’t work because they’ve copied the crack into the folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS3. They should have followed your instruction, to replace the file C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS3\Support Files\Content\Windows. When I did that, it worked wooots!
